The future of former Celtic midfielder is yet to be decided after his departure from the Hoops but there appears to be concern around his international career.

One of the reasons why this matters to Celtic is if the 29-year old is selected as part of the Australia squad for the World Cup in Qatar, the Hoops will receive in part financial benefits as he won’t have been on any other teams books.

This will be Australia’s fifth straight World Cup tournament having defeated Peru on penalties to once again be in the mix.

However, there looks to be a doubt surrounding Rogic’s future with the Socceroos as it has emerged that he snubbed his international boss Graham Arnold.

He pulled out of the Aussie team for personal reasons back in June and there doesn’t seem to have been any communication since then.

“I haven’t read anything, I haven’t seen anything … I texted him and didn’t get a reply. I am concerned about Tommy but I know the PFA are looking into it,” said Graham Arnold speaking to [Fox Sports].

The playmaker needs to find a new home and to settle down. Having spent so much time at Celtic this part of his career will be challenging having not played outside of Glasgow since 2014 with a brief loan spell to A-League side Melbourne Victory.

He has been linked with moves to countries nearer his homeland but nothing is yet to be made permanent.

Hopefully Rogic can find somewhere that suits his ambition and can once again kick-on and show his quality that can put him in contention for the World Cup later this year.
