TOM ROGIC has been left at home by Brendan Rodgers much to the dismay of Celtic fans who thought the midfielder was fit and ready to go for Germany.

Details have emerged since that the midfielder is having trouble with a knee injury which Celtic are trying to manage and have been since the start of the season.

This gives you an insight into Rodgers thinking; while the game tonight is very important for the Irishman he seems to be favouring the semi-final on Sunday.

Word in the Celtic camp is barring Rogic suffering further injury he should be okay to head back into the Celtic side for Sunday.

James Forrest will also come back in for the semi-final after being suspended for the Leipzig game.

There is also room for some fringe players to stake their claim for a place in the team.

However, Rodgers will want as close to the side who has scored ten goals in two games as possible for the Hearts game.
