TOM ROGIC left Celtic after spending nine years with the club, winning sixteen trophies while he was in Glasgow.
The news that he’d leave Celtic at the end of the season came as a surprise to all. Fans were grateful that they could give the player one last send-off with Rogic starting the final day of the season.
Leaving Celtic as a champion, Rogic can still play at a high level and add more trophies to his cabinet.
Rogic has been offered a lucrative deal by Persija Jakarta, an Indonesian side that sits 8th in the league. The former Celtic midfielder has until the end of next week to respond. [Daily Record]
He’ll likely want to move closer to home; with a family, it’s easier for the player to be in, or near, his native land down under.
It’s up to the player. Aged 29, he may feel he can test himself at a higher level than the Indonesian league, but if everything else is right, he could be unveiled as a Persija Jakarta player in a week.
