TOM ROGIC has been speaking to Good Morning Australia ahead of the World Cup later this month and had a lot to say about Celtic.

The Celtic hero recently signed a five-year deal with the club, committing his long term future to the Scottish Champions.

Even though the ink is dry on his contract, Tom was asked about speculation linking him with a move to a ‘stronger league’ in the near future.

The Australian’s reply was brilliant.

“I can’t control speculation that’s out there. I guess you take it as a compliment maybe, that you’re doing something right. For me I was focused on my job at my club and I am very happy there.”

“I certainly understand what it’s like and the magnitude of the club. I’m very happy there and we have worldwide fans and I’m sure there’s a lot of people in Australia who understand that,”

“I am happy at the club, I am happy with where I am. The club made me a great offer and I think I played my best football there and I’m working under the best manager I’ve ever worked under,”

Tom has consistently scored important goals for Celtic and is a real fan favourite. His goal in the Scottish Cup final in the invincible season has gone down in Celtic folklore.
