It’s the most significant talking point of the week.
Tom Rogic being powerless to prevent his call-up to the Australia camp just days before the Glasgow Derby which will see the Australian miss Celtic’s trip to Ibrox.
There was some hope on Friday an agreement could be reached between the club and the Australian Federation, but that quickly evaporated with Rodgers conceding they will have to let the player go under FIFA rules.
Celtic fans are upset with the Socceroos for not showing any come or go over the decision with some believing it would be different if it was a high ranking English Premier League team who requested a short extension.
With that, some Celtic fans have been voicing their displeasure with some even thinking Tom should go rogue and refuse to meet up with his Aussie teammates until after the tie on the 29th.
Celtic pay(fans pay)Tom Rogic's wages,he is contracted to Celtic not Australian FA.Same goes for the Hibs players. What would happen if Man city had an Australian top player for instance and they had to play Man utd.Different outcome I think?

Lost to why the Australian FA are allowed to force Tom Rogic to fly out before the zombies game when we pay his wages? Why we not allowed to say no?

Doesn't seem reasonable. Celtic developed him into the player he is, the Oz football association could've been more respectful & accommodating. No reason why he shouldn't play in our big game then fly out & apart from anything else, it'd help him leave on a high.

Here @Socceroos, stop being awkward and let Tom Rogic play next week. Don’t be wide. He will be on first flight out of Glasgow after the final whistle.

Tom is between a rock and a hard place and while Celtic fans can’t see past the Celtic side of things the player has a lot of pride playing for his country.
He no doubt wants to play at Ibrox, but should he disobey Graham Arnold and the Australian FA, there could be sire consequences, including permanent removal from the team.
Australia is set to take part in the Asia Cup in January and Rogic is one of their top players. Could the Wizard of Oz risk the wrath of the Socceroos to turn out for Celtic – we can’t see Brendan Rodgers being party to that.
Nothing or nobody would stop me playing
