Thomas Gravesen was the guest of honour at OpenGoal’s night at the Hydro on Sunday.

The former Celtic, Everton and Real Madrid star has become an OpenGoal cult hero without even stepping foot onto the channel until now.

The stories from former teammates about his antics as a player has delivered a lot of hits for Si Ferry and the Open Goal channel.

They finally got the man himself and he didn’t disappoint. The former Hoops midfielder was outstanding on the night and still has a love for Celtic to this day.

Gravesen has today donated his Open Goal fee to the Celtic foundation. A classy touch from the former Celt.

The midfielder didn’t have the best time at Celtic but there was rarely a dull moment. He and Gordon Strachan didn’t get on much and Tommy always preferred a game of pool to training.

Some of the stories surrounding his time at Celtic are brilliant. It’s great to see Tommy still has an affinity for the club.
