Former Celtic media team member, Laura Brannan, now working at Motherwell, wasn’t impressed by an excerpt in an interview Tony Watt took part in lately.

It was another interview where the player had to speak about the Barcelona game back in 2012.

Watt, also at Motherwell is remembered for one thing during his spell at Celtic and as moments go, it’s pretty historic.

We’ve read plenty of interviews over the years since where the player can’t escape the inevitable questions bout a crazy 60 seconds in his life where he was out through on goal against the night of Barcelona and did not blink as he sent the Catalan’s packing.

Eight years on, it has been talked to death and it comes up more often than Tony would like. He did admit he’s ok with the question coming up but it puts him to sleep now.

It’s a fair thing to say. We Celtic fans put that night up there as one of the best night’s in the club’s history but Tony has a career to lead and so much has happened between then and now.

Once it’s all said and done, Tony will reflect on his career as a whole and that will be a big part of it. We understand Lauren’s frustration as he is a Motherwell player but it’s always going to be part of Tony’s story, for good and bad.

But it’s safe to say the striker is much more than just that goal.
