Tony Watt has been sent out on a season long loan to Belgian club Lierse .
The bhoy who is most famous for THAT goal against Barcelona last year will now hope to gain some much needed first team experience in the Beligian league with his loan club.
Lierse sit in 11th spot in a 16 team league at present but they’re hoping the Scottish U21 international can help them climb the table.
A lot of Celtic fans would like to have seen Tony get more game time in a Celtic jersey but at 19 years old he has plenty of time to become a big part of Celtic’s future. He is contracted to the club till 2016 at present.
We hope to give you regular updates of Tony’s progress as he adjusts and hopefully shines with Lierse.
