CELTIC have only two recognised strikers, a problem which the Celtic manager tried to avoid by keeping Moussa Dembele at the club for just a little longer.
We all know how that played out.
So Celtic must continue on with Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths for the time being with the hope of bringing in another striker in January.
For the first time in a while there isn’t a clear first choice striker at the club – well there is, depending on who you ask I suppose.
We polled Celtic fans ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash with Rosenborg, asking who they believe should lead the line for the bhoys ASSUMING Rodgers goes with just one up top.
The results have been far from conclusive.
With over 2600 votes in, it’s too tight to call.

Edouard is edging the poll by just one percent.
It seems the Celtic fans are split on who they believe is the better striker.
Of course, there will be situations and games where it will call for one more than the other.
However, it’s imperative that Rodgers gives his main striker the game time to let the goals flow.
We have seen what happens when strikers get the stop and start treatment. It’s the whole reason it took Leigh so long to hit his 100th goal for the club.
It will be interesting to see who Rodgers goes with this evening.
