Ryan being out means a midfielder shuffle might be in order but how will Neil Lennon handle that?
Could it be time for an SPFL debut for Luca Connell, who was spotted n training yesterday?
The Irish under 21 international has not been given a proper chance to show what he can do yet and given the limitations of what reserve players can do at Celtic at the moment, all he will be doing is training.
The league is gone, so there should be more focus on the future and see if some of these guys can cut it on the first-team stage.
RecordSport also gave us a glimpse of the forgotten man Hatem Elhamed at Lennoxtown yesterday. After his agent’s declaration, Ellhamed would be staying with the club and fighting for his Celtic future, we’ve not seen him play one minute of football for the club.

Christie’s been of the boil of late any way, not that I would want to see a Celt injured.
The young team have been showing up well recently when given the chance, so it would be nice to see Luca get his chance, although I think there’s a player in big Elhamed and if he’s going to be here for the future he really needs the game time
