KYOGO being fit has taken all the headlines, as it should considering how long our star striker has been missing.

When Ange declared EVERYONE was fit apart from James Forrest, the immediate thoughts were about the Japanese striker and his return.

However, the recovery that has flown under the radar is Tom Rogic. The midfielder limped off against Ross County before the international break. The injury was bad enough the player couldn’t fly out to play for Australia in their World Cup qualifiers.

There were serious doubts over the Celtic star’s availability coming out of the international break and indeed for Ibrox. The fact Tom has been able to shake off the injury and be ready for the vital derby game is great news for Celtic.

It gives Ange Postecoglou the luxury of starting Tom or Matt O’Riley. It’s safe to say whoever Ange goes with on the day in the starting XI, the other will certainly see game time at some point.

Personally, I’d be tempted to start with Matt and bring on Tom later in the day. Again, to have those options is a dream for the Celtic manager.

Who would you start between the two?

  1. More likely to go the other way start Rocic, and bring on O’Riley. Hopefully by that time we looking to see the game through with a lead and if need be O’Riley better suited to consolidating the midfield while also a threat if we are pushing for the 6-0 I put on haha
