A new season of Football Manager has dropped and it’s always fun to take a look at the Celtic squad and how Sports Interactive interprets Celtic data.

The game which is billed as the most immersive experience you can find in a football game puts you in the hot seat and you’re responsible for all the decisions.

The data picked up on every club all over Europe and the world is collated from local sources who all do their bit to make the game so popular. The database of players, clubs and competitions is incredible.

If you’re 20 or above, you’re likely to have dabbled in the game at some point in your life, some have a casual relationship with it, others get sucked in and lose a few months of their life.

The data they have on Celtic is, for the most part, decent. It certainly beats out FIFA and how they portray the Celtic team

We looked at squad value this year, the transfer value of the Celtic players when the game kicks off. Not surprisingly, Edouard tops the list. The game sets out a minimum value but the players, in essence, go for more during gameplay.
