WWE Superstar and mad Celtic fan Joe Coffey will take to the ring tonight in Blackpool when he goes up against the Bruiserweight Pete Dunne.

The Scottish grappler who was locally known for his exploits in Glasgow promotion ICW is asserting him well on the UK wide scene.

Coffey is an old school professional wrestler and plays his role well in the ring. He and many other wrestlers are responsible for the current thriving UK independent scene which seen WWE come into the market and create NXT UK.

NXT is known as a developmental brand for World Wrestling Entertainment, and its original incarnation has from the states in Orlando Florida. They have a state of the art complex where professional wrestlers can work and learn their craft.

This week the UK NXT performance centre was unveiled and it will give more wrestlers a chance to become the best they can be.

Joe is in the main event this evening, and you catch the show from Blackpool live on the WWE Network.

For those of you who are familiar with Joe, he always flies the flag for Celtic when in the ring and his trunks design is an adaptation of the green brigade logo.

As he gets prepared for his big title match this evening, the wrestler was walking about the arena with his Hoops on and posed next to his brother Mark (Also a top UK Wrestler) and Wolfgang. All three have been tearing it up for years on the Glasgow scene, and it’s great to see them flourishing.

Joe will be paying homage to one of his heroes Paul McStay tonight and is wearing trunks inspired by a very retro Celtic away kit!

The show kicks off at 7 pm tonight and can be watched on replay on the WWE Network
