CELTIC are at the business end of their season and while there’s still matters to deal with off the pitch, it doesn’t stop things from happening off it.

Rodgers is expected to bring in at least a few new faces in this summer and has reportedly been alerted to the availability of Abel Hernandez.

The centre forwards contract runs out at the end of this season and is free to talk to clubs and even sign a pre-contract agreement.

The Hull striker has had injury problems for Hull this season which has seen his game time restricted and has failed to live up to the goals he scored in the Championship for the English outfit.

Abel is certainly a player that is in Celtic’s market, with doubt over Edouard’s permanent stay and Dembele’s future, Rodgers could be hedging his bets.

If the player is fit, he certainly could score goals up here.

  1. Why we have Leigh Griffiths. Who is he getting rid Dembele?? Then go splash a big wad of that and keep Griffiths on the bench.
NOT very good business in my eyes and if Dembele is staying he would want to start stepping up to the mark
