CELTIC look set to offload a few players before Monday’s deadline and according to reports, one man who could be destined for the Parkhead exit is Calvin Miller. The attacker turned full-back has not had a look in under Neil Lennon and his Celtic career looks all but over.

Miller, 21, came in and played left-back as cover for Kieran Tierney in the first team but apart from that the player has languished in the developmental side.

The player is at the age now where he needs to go get first-team football on a regular basis. With only one year left on his Celtic deal it would stand to reason the club might want to move him on.

According to SunSport, Portsmouth have been running the rule over Calvin and could look to bring him in for the coming season. Even if the player goes out on loan it will surely be the end of his Celtic career because he’ll just be running down the final year of his Parkhead deal.

  1. How embarrassed am I fans getting excited over a no mark defender. Hope I’m wrong but doubt it. Applause to lawell taking the piss out of the young team .again ur a disgrace. I’m a season ticket holder and if you want to talk to me which you won’t cause your a coward and a cheat. You screw this up I’ll be one of first outside the front doors. We need people with eyes to the future not there next bonus. Hope your family are proud of you. If you were my dad I’d disown you no matter what your taking out of the club
