CELTIC have today been linked with Everton outcast Yannick Bolasie as the player looks for a way out of the club.

The attacker who was once bought for £26m spent last season on-loan to Aston Villa then Anderlecht. It appears he has no future at Everton and although the club reportedly agreed a fee for his sale to CSKA Moscow but the player rejected a move to the Russian League.

That deal was supposed to be a loan move with a $6m option to buy.

Goal are now reporting the player is being looked at by three clubs; Celtic, Rennes and Besiktas.

Neil Lennon has made no secret that he wants more reinforcements in attack and Bolasie can play either side of an attacking midfielder or upfront.

Even though injuries have been a problem during his Everton run, Yannick, 30, played 38 times between his loan moves last season and looks like he may be over the worst of his injuries.

Could a loan move be an option for Celtic – Neil Lennon is tempering expectations of Celtic splashing the cash after Tierney’s sale.
