NEIL LENNON wouldn’t be drawn into speculation about making a move fir Greg Taylor. However, more importantly, he didn’t deny the interest.

If you have watched as many press conference as we have in our time there’s certain language which is a massive giveaway and Neil Lennon’s response suggest Greg is a player he is interested in.

You only have to look back last month to find the Celtic manager dismissing targets that he been speculated in the media.

When asked about Taylor, the Irishman did not dismiss it and gave the standard managers response.

“I’m not going to talk about a player if he’s contracted to another club.” He told CelticTV.

“I can’t control media speculation about players being linked with us and players leaving the club.

“I only speak when they are sat here in front of me.

“I think it’s very unfair on any player to talk about them when they are contracted to another club.”

Taylor, 21, has already played over -00 games for Kilmarnock at left back and has been a big part of Killie’s success under Stevie Clarke before he moves on to the Scotland job.

Celtic are in the hunt for a left back after Kieran Tierney’s departure. Boli Bolingoli is an injury away from leaving us very short at the back.
