CELTIC has been linked with ‘Boro front man Viktor Fischer today after it was revealed the player looks to be on his way out of the Riverside stadium.

The attacking midfielder, who scored against Celtic back in 2015 moved to Middlesborough from Ajax last summer but has only played 16 times for the English outfit.

After suffering relegation to the Championship, Boro are looking to reshape their team in order to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and it’s thought Viktor is not in their plans.

Brendan Rodgers has been talking about adding quality to his side and has been an admirer of the Viktor for some time. The player would fit very well into Rodgers system and at only 23-years-old (Turns 23 on June 9th) he also fits into Celtic’s business model.

Celtic have told Brendan he will be backed with cold hard cash should the right players become available and if there’s a deal to be done here the treble winning boss will explore it. Viktor has all the credentials to be a Celtic Park success.
