With less than two weeks of the transfer window to go in Scotland, Celtic look set to complete at least one more deal with a move edging ever closer.

Ange Postecoglou reiterated after the 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock that the Scottish champions would be remaining active in the market and that the club were open to moves for players who could play more than one position.

Being this flexible gives the manager further options and can add real depth to the squad which the Hoops will need as they compete on four fronts this season.

This campaign will be like no other with the World Cup landing in November meaning that a big squad is imperative incase of any injuries sustained and the volume of games which players have to play.

Football Scotland journalist, [@mhendry92] has been pretty spot on in terms of Celtic transfers throughout this window and has stated that the Hoops are fully focused on Sead Haksabanovic.

There had been previous links with the Rubin Kazan man weeks ago but the deal appears to have progressed extremely quickly with a medical being very close.

Last night, rumours emerged of the Hoops interest in North Macedonia midfielder Jani Atanasov but at this point there appears to be nothing in the pipeline.

Under the direction of Ange Postecoglou, Celtic have acted swiftly in the market so there is still plenty of time to get business done.

Haksabanovic would give Postecoglou further flexibility in the attacking areas with the 23-year old able to play on either wing and as an attacking midfielder.
