DAVID TURNBULL got among the goals for Scotland’s under 21s tonight and did his chances of playing in the Glasgow Derby no harm.
With Ryan Christie out isolating, and James Forrest injured there’s space in the starting XI for Turnbull if Neil Lennon believes he is ready.
David is being eased into the Celtic side but has started to see more game time in the last few weeks, getting his first start just before the international break.
His performance against San Marino will do him the world of good.
Here is our man Lewis laird delivering some updates on International Celts fortunes.
??????? David Turnbull and Ross Doohan both started and played just under an hour for Scotland u21s in the 7-0 victory over San Marino
The midfielder also managed to get himself on the scoresheet

The Celtic manager could call on Tom Rogic in the absence of Ryan Christie and leave David for later on in the game on Saturday.
The Celtic team is far from certain with so much upheaval in the last week. It will be interesting to see what the Celtic manager decides this weekend.
