PFA Scotland have just announced their nominations for PFA player of the year and they are as follows:

Kris Boyd (Kilmarnock)
James Forrest (Celtic)
Scott Brown (Celtic)
John McGinn (Hibernian)

With only four nominations, it’s always going to be tough. Whether you like Kris Boyd or not he has had a remarkable season at his age and helped Kilmarnock’s very drastic upswing.

Brown and Forrest are probably the two most deserving Celtic stars you could put in there but I do feel a little sorry for Callum McGregor who seems to be under appreciated for what he brings to the table.

John McGinn rounds off the nominations, with Hibs first season back in the top flight an impressive one, it’s probably only fitting arguably their best player gets the nomination.

Is there anyone else in the SPFL who should feel upset to miss out on a nomination?
