Celtic were back in training on Friday, preparing for their trip to Dingwall to face Ross County on Sunday.

After suffering an embarrassing 7-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, Brendan Rodgers’ side will be looking to bounce back with a positive result in the Scottish Premiership.

Despite Alistair Johnston being left out of Canada’s international squad due to injury concerns, the defender was spotted in training.

However, Cameron Carter-Vickers remains a notable absentee. The American centre-back has missed the last few games through injury and was not seen in training on Friday, leaving his availability for the weekend in doubt. His continued absence will force Rodgers to once again rely on his defensive depth as Celtic look to shore up at the back after their midweek European struggles.

Greg Taylor, who was substituted at half-time during the Dortmund defeat, was also missing from the training pictures released by the SNS Group. His status remains unclear, and it is yet to be seen if he’ll be available for the Dingwall clash.

Brendan Rodgers will say more in his Friday afternoon press conference.

Celtic will head into Sunday’s game eager to put the Dortmund result behind them and get back on track in the league.

  1. Might not be bad for Taylor not fit to play save Rodgers dropping him I’m not a great believer of playing loan players with no right to buy but valle looks a better player or player with no lose of confidence
