Two out of two is not bad going for someone who hadn’t scored in nearly two years. Every Celtic fan knows Scott Brown isn’t in the team for goals, although, they don’t be shy in encouraging him to have a pop when he is in range.
His goal today won’t win goal of the season but it is probably his most important one. The Celtic captain had to take things into his own hands when Celtic failed to break down a stone wall Kilmarnock defence. His celebrations got him a second yellow card and his marching orders. But you can tell he doesn’t care.
Great win today and to get a wee goal again. 2 out of 2 for me?? https://t.co/JpPAnViJ8E

Brown helped his team-mates break the deadlock at Rugby Park and create an eight-point cushion for the last quarter of the season. It will take a major implosion for Celtic to throw away their eight title in a row. Brown will be suspended now for domestic duties but if he could make it three in three against Valencia on Thursday, Celtic may have a chance of turning around a two-goal deficit.
