CELTIC have an anxious wait to find out if there are any protocols which will prohibit their new signing Vasilis Barkas from participating in training and the Ross County game this weekend after TWO Greece Player has tested positive for COVID-19.

Barkas has been with the international squad for the past seven days, playing in both their fixtures. It has transpired over the last 12 hours two of his teammates have the virus and must isolate immediately as reported by Eurosport.

We’re unsure what the club protocol is for this, with internationals only returning since the pandemic. This further highlights the stupidity to get these fixtures played when it always seemed like a step too far.

Celtic could be without their goalkeeper if he needs to isolate for a certain period of time upon his return. You would have to imagine the club would be wary of letting Vasilis train around the rest of the squad.
