LIEL ABADA started for Celtic on Tuesday night and got on the scoresheet for his new club as the bhoys played out a 1-1 draw against Midtjylland.
It was a surprise to see the Israeli on the team sheet because there was no sign he was registered with UEFA for the game.
Journalist Andrew confirmed today UEFA had made an error and Celtic DID register the winger properly.
UEFA confirm Liel Abada's absence from Celtic's squad list ahead of their match against Midtjylland was an IT error on their part.
The 19-year old had been registered properly by the club.

To be honest, we assumed this would be the case, so we didn’t even bother to ask UEFA. Someone has gone out their way to make sure Liel was registered properly because if any unregistered player takes to the field, the team fielding that player would be handed a 3-0 defeat.
It famously happened to Legia Warsaw against Celtic.
Celtic played much better than many anticipated and Liel Abada was having a great game until he had to come off because his compatriot Nir Bitton was sent off.
Liel will likely start the game in Denmark next week.
As if UEFA are going to reply to a fans website ?
