UEFA Vice President, Michele Uva has told countries around Europe that they will NOT get involved with how any association decides to conclude their season.

The group are only concerned about their own competition and simply want the list of teams who will be participating in European football whenever next season rolls around.

There was hope from many in Scotland that UEFA would set the ground rules and a precedent for how to finish the season if no more games can be played. However, it looks like we’re on our own.

“It’s not a matter for us, it will be up to each league to decide.” Uva told PLZ Scotland.

“The only issue concerns those players who have contracts or loans expiring on June 30 but that isn’t a matter for UEFA, which will only ask for the list of teams that will participate in the next European competitions by a certain date.”

Verdict?

If you’re a Scottish Football fan wanting to know what the most likely outcome will be – keep an eye on the English FA. Our group of bungling officials who don’t know how to lead the game will no doubt piggy back over the Premier Leagues decision down south.

With Celtic ahead of the pack by some distance, it would be criminal to null and void the league.

  1. Can’t see the SFA deny the Scottish clubs money ,Celtic could get from the champion league when all are pleading poverty.
