Celtic fans have been desperate for a big performance from their team and bhoy did they finally get it!
The bhoys in green were in absolutely scintillating form as they showed their ruthless streak against St Johnstone.
It was a memorable first half for the rampant Celtic team and in-particular James Forrest who was outstanding. His best performance in a Celtic jersey – the midfielder terrorised the St Johnstone backline and put four past them!
With Tom Rogic pulling the strings, St Johnstone did not know what had hit them and it just kept on coming.
The second half was quieter after Forrest broke away again only for Danny Swanson to kick out at the midfielder and get sent off for serious foul play.

Celtic now find themselves in third place in the league and closing in on Hearts who lost at Ibrox.
I just new Hearts would do nothing it that game, there was talk in the local that there manager CL would lay down to make SG team look better than they are,but if he did let his players take a hit like that and its not the first time then it could back fire and they will start to slip out of the top six sooner than CL thinks its just like Dundee they take a beating by them and have never been the same how there managers NMc is holding on to his job no one knows they are the two teams that go there and do nothing……………..
