FORMER Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has not reported to training all week for his club side Apollon Smyrni.

The former Celtic and Hibees man seems to be in hot water with his new club after only a handful of games where he has failed to find the net.

The whole Greek league was shut down for a period of time lately after PAOK Salonika owner Ivan Savvidis entered the field after a contentious game with a gun.

Stokes had moved to the Greek side after falling out with Neil Lennon at Hibs where his contract was terminated by the club.

His current boss, Georgios Paraschos isn’t happy.

He said: “Stokes has not appeared at training for the past three days. We will be seeking an apology.

“This is unacceptable. We have had no explanation from him.”

Stokes won seven trophies at Celtic during his time at the club.
