Ange Postecoglou branded the Celtic fans ‘unbelievable’ after the Real Madrid game on Wednesday night.

The bhoys were in fine form despite the heavy defeat in Spain.

The game was a dead rubber, yet so many Celtic fans travelled to Madrid for the game to either take in the game from the Santiago Bernabeu or in the surrounding area.

The best clips came after the game of supporters in and outside the Bernabeu singing and dancing j to the night.

Speaking about the supporters Ange told The Glasgow Times: “The support is unbelievable. Obviously we’ve lost 5-1. I don’t think anyone enjoys that kind of defeat. Their reaction after the game was not just them trying to make us feel good, I think they can appreciate what the players are trying to do,

“That gives us, and certainly me, massive motivation to reward them. To make sure we qualify again next year and next year we perform better and give them more moments like Jota’s. Because that is what they deserve.

“Ultimately I am responsible for the approach we have taken and how we have gone about things and I would have wanted to repay them for their support.”

Ange has spoken so many times about delivering a team this support can be proud of. Not only domestically but in Europe. You saw the manager at the end of last season take great pride in delivering the SPFL title to the support after less than 12 months in the job.

We have watched Ange build Celtic back up from almost scratch and supporters are very much along for the ride when it comes to the Hoops boss and his vision.

If you speak to most Celtic fans, they will tell you to ‘trust the process’ as Ange looks to unlock the key to Euro success. He wants to deliver for us and we’ll back him all the way.
