SHANE DUFFY fulfilled a life long dream on Saturday afternoon when he took to a football pitch as a Celtic player. The Irishman went straight into the squad after signing for the club last week and boy did it pay off.
Duffy’s introduction meant Celtic went to a 3-5-2 and although Celtic had an average first half; Duffy and the rest of the team stepped it up in the second, running out 5-0 winners and with the big man getting on the scoresheet.
It feels like a Celtic team of old, who were such a threat at set pieces. Duffy’s header flying into the net after a great ball by Callum McGregor.
The new Celtic signing obviously delighted with his debut took to social media and after an hour it has over 11k likes on twitter and 15k on Instagram.

There are a lot of Brighton fans keeping their eye on the defender and have had great things to say about Shane since his move to Celtic. No doubt they’re delighted for him too.
