Bobby Lennox played in the immortal Lisbon Lions team that won the European Cup and he was the last lion to wear the green and white hoops ending his fantastic career with a record 8th Scottish Cup Trophy in 1980.

Bobby also played in the ‘Ten men won the league’ that was his last of his eleventh league title. The Buzz Bomb collected 25 major honours with the club. Bobby admitted that his retirement wasn’t his choice, he was training for the 80/81 season when he had torn his groin, this meant the clubs most decorated player in their whole history never got the chance of a proper send off.

So come and watch his last European home game against Real Madrid from 1980 on a big screen in the St Matthew’s Auditorium which is laid out like a cinema. We are also showing the Alfredo Di Stéfano testimonial highlights. We will have this European Cup replica along with the Di Stéfano testimonial trophy, so come along and get photos. Bobby will be there!

We have the 1980s jerseys for raffle, signed by Danny McGrain, George McCluskey & Lennox. Signed Artur Boruc gloves and much more including, amazing framed Programme/Ticket/Madrid team signatures for auction.

Tickets for the event is only £5! Anyone that receives care support have free entry so do 5s & under.

It’s on Saturday February the 24th doors open at 1:30pm KO 3pm
