CELTIC have announced they will show five games EACH for both the Celtic Women and the Celtic Colts next season on the Celtic Pass for season ticket holders.

As restrictions begin to die down and more of us can get into the stadium the Celtic Pass will still prove very useful if you want to immerse yourself in all levels of the club.

The Celtic Women just missed out on the League title last term, but landed a Champions League spot against the odds. Fran Alonso and his ghirls were superb during the run-in last term and they want to build on that next season. Celtic fans will get to watch five of those games on the pass, with that plus BBC Alba’s coverage we should certainly see more of the ghirls.

The Colts is brand new and it’s history in the making. Jock Stein pushed for the idea of Celtic colts in the lower league but because of pushback that has existed to this very day – it’s never come to fruition. Celtic making it into the lower leagues and fans being able to see some of the action is positive.

The games that will be shown have not been settled yet but we’ve been told there will hopefully Derby days included.

The Celtic season ticket also allows holders to go to one Celtic’s women game for free once fans are allowed back in to watch.

We have been a proponent of the women’s game and our coverage has grown throughout the season as well as Celtic fans interest in the SWPL.

Let’s hope the first team, the women’s team and the youngster’s can give us something to cheer about.

  1. After last season’s surrender on the pitch, the dithering boards inability to get a manager in place, fans being unable to get to any games and uncertainty as to when we can get back, I would have expected ALL the colts & ghirls matches to be free not just 5 each.

  2. Get that ridiculous Women’s football far away from Celtic Park. A waste of money, that only butch les bians enjoy. Who watches that crap?
