We reported late on Thursday night, Paul Robinson told Football Insider his former teammate Robbie Brady would jump at the chance to sign for Celtic.

The Burnley player will be a free agent in the summer which could be appealing to Celtic.

We put the news out onto all our social media platforms and as always, our followers did not hold back in what they thought.

There were some people receptive to a move for the midfielder BUT there were lots more who don’t want Celtic to go down this path.

Brady, 29, is playing his cards close to his chest and it’s unclear if he will continue with Burnley beyond the summer.

Celtic are 100% heading for a big rebuild but would there be space for the winger?

The Irish international would be a cheaper option with no fee involved but given some of his injury woes this season, it’s perhaps a deal Celtic shouldn’t pursue.

We cite any transfer rumours with the caveat we don’t have the right men in place at the moment for the club to make big decisions on playing staff,

  1. Played well in his first game and scored a cracking free kick. Did ok in January and thats it, £15 million wasted four years ago.
We hope he takes the opportunity to head North.

  2. It’s easy to say if a players not good enough for so and so he’s not good enough for Celtic, but we’ve got a massive rebuild ahead and we can’t afford to fill it with 5, 6, & 7 mill players. Yes we’ve got prospects in the youth ranks to be tested, but we can’t fill the ranks with them either. We need guys who know the ropes and can do a job. I’m not saying this guy’s one of them, I don’t know him if I’m honest, but it’s something to keep in mind.

    H! H!

    • Yeah he doesnt exactly inspire but we need to get the new manager in asap before signing ANYONE.
Our youth system is producing nothing and hasn’t for years.
No wonder so many youngsters bailing for Bayern & Man City.
Ajer will be a massive loss, bigger than Eddy or Christie who frustrate too often
Jamesie has been a big miss this season while McGregor is always AWOL when it comes to the big games and has gone backwards since Brendan left.
Hopefully Soro & Turnbull will continue their promising start but we need major investment all over the park
