After Aberdeen fans tried to get Scott Brown in front of the SFA for a flashpoint at Pittodrie last Sunday, they have all gone quiet over their midfielders actions towards the end of the semi-final at Hampden on Sunday.

Lewis Ferguson looks to have clearly hit Celtic striker Albian Ajeti in the jaw to get the ball back. Remarkably, the referee and linesman both agree that no action was necessary after the infringement.

Have a look and judge for yourself.

Lewis has been sent off for Aberdeen against Celtic at Hampden before and has that kind of action in him when things aren’t going his way. After getting two penalties the week before, the midfielder didn’t have much influence on the game and this flashpoint only proves what kind of day he had.

The SFA only take action against a player if the referee missed it at the time, and that’s 100% the case here, however, I don’t believe they will take any action.
