KYOGO FURUHASHI made his highly anticipated return to football in Celtic’s 7-0 win over St Johnstone.

When Kyogo was seen warming up, the fans gave their striker a standing ovation. Then, when it was time to step onto the pitch, the crowd cheered as if the ball had just struck the back of the net.

When he was on the park, it was as if the players were trying to get the ball to their star man.

Kyogo set up Abada’s goal; The former Visel Kobe man played a lovely ball in behind for Maeda to run onto. He laid it off to the winger, who made no mistake in netting the ball.

It’s great to have Kyogo back, and it seems it may be at the right time. Giakoumakis hobbled off the pitch with Postecoglou, unsure of the extent of his injury. Hopefully, it’s not too severe, and he can be in with a chance to lead the line at Hampden.
