ANGE POSTECOGLOU has delivered a touching tribute to Walter Smith after his passing was announced earlier on Tuesday.
People from all over the footballing world have been paying tribute to the former Rangers and Scotland boss. His loss is being felt in Scottish football and many people who came into contact with Smith have been paying glowing tributes to him.
Ange can’t recall a time when their paths have crossed but the Celtic manager was well aware of Walter’s exploits in the game.
Speaking at his Celtic press conference, Ange believes managers want to make their mark on the game and Walter has certainly done that.

He was a great rival of Celtic, but as we’ve mentioned many times today. In his later years, his friendship with the late Tommy Burns and how Walter conducted himself when we sadly lost Tommy earned him a lot of respect from Celtic fans.
