It will be difficult to find many Celtic supporters who lay the blame at Ange Postecoglou’s door for Wednesday night’s Champions League exit.

The Hoops ran out of gas in the second half and after squandering an outstanding opportunity to make it 2-0 on the night – around 30 second later the ball was in the back of the Celtic net and it was 1-1.

The Hoops offered nothing in extra time and conceded the fatal goal early on.

The manager was reluctant to go to his bench, especially when there were players out there this evening he didn’t want to have to rely on for such an important tie.

Speaking after the game to Premier Sports, the manager was obviously dejected but believes the players on the pitch gave their all in an energy zapping night in Denmark

Celtic have been badly let down by the board, the recruitment and just the general planning for this season. We’re still in the infancy of a rebuild that should have started taking shape months ago.

Ange needs time to bring in his own players and implement his own system. Right now, we’re running on fumes with a team who failed to make the grade last season.

  1. I don’t want to burst any bubbles but Ange isn’t infallible.
    He’s not The Holy Father.
‘the manager was reluctant to go to his bench, especially when there were players out there this evening he didn’t want to have to rely on for such an important tie’!

I don’t know what that means!

    French Eddie!
    Honestly, marks out of 3!

He should have been hooked and that’s a managers call.
He can pull a stroke of brilliance at any moment……..in any tow or three games… but unfortunately enough for us we need the here and now!

Rogic, another now and again punter but at least he might have a bit more energy than FE, and Ajeti on the bench.

Fresh legs needed heading towards the last quarter, if not, at least do something to bring some energy into a tired team, who’re playing their first competitive game away and their second competitive game as a ‘new team’.

Sorry, I know he’s been dealt’ a chit hand, but he could have played it better.

My hand was full of hindsight btw.

  2. Mate go win three domestic
Titles and Asian cup, qualify for a World Cup, win a J league crown and then maybe then be qualified to have a half hearted say on shit you know nothing about…

  3. CHECK OUT THE WIKI ON TULLIO!!
Listen sonny, I was following Celtic when you were shitting Yella.
I guess since I’ve never been Liquidated I can never comment on the fraudulent activities at the hunnery?
I’ve never won the Big Cup, so I guess that excludes me from discussing anything about The Lisbon Lions?
Never won NIAR, Quad treb, so everyone on all these blogs have to do ALL THIS SHIT otherwise they won’t ‘be qualified to have a half hearted say on shit they know nothing about’.

Sit down son, men vent and just like Big Ange maybe don’t get everything right after thinking on it.

    Ask your mammy.
