Celtic had to dig in deep on Wednesday night to get the win. Despite needing three points to keep the pressure on the league leaders, the team did not stop playing ‘Ange-ball’ even deep into injury time.
The team kept going and in the end, they got their reward for it. The win links back to one of Postecoglou’s first training sessions with the bhoys, where he enforced the message that the team doesn’t take their foot off the gas until the referee blows his whistle to signal an end to the match.
Some laughed, they’re not laughing now.

Under Ange, we are seeing a whole new Celtic. Even with the attacking department consisting of two full-backs and a winger at striker we still managed to score goals.
Postecoglou is creating something special, he has only had one opportunity to bring in new players with another coming up shortly before summer it is scary to think how good Celtic could be.
To be fair you don’t see 100 metre sprinters slow down with 10 metres left to go so it is hardly reinventing the wheel expecting players to play until the final whistle. Ange will not welcome praise in areas where the bare minimum is applied and giving your all for 90 minutes is indeed the bare minimum. When trophies are in the cabinet and the one-hit-wonder tribute act of Ibrox is put back in it’s 9 year old box, then the praise will be well placed and on point.
