Ange Postecoglou has spoken from the heart after the St Mirren win at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening.

The Hoops boss was asked about the backlash from Celtic supporters over the decision to cash in on a Glasgow Derby across the world – Ange had no intention of telling fans how to feel but revealed how much it means to him.

The Celtic fans protesting the trip aren’t doing so because they don’t want the team to go to Australia. They’re upset over involving the Ibrox club in those plans and cashing in on a dead rubber derby.

I’m sure a lot will be said about the tournament between now and November.

The Ibrox supporters are none too happy about being the sideshow for Celtic who are getting top billing in the tournament because of Ange Postecoglou.

The manager retuning told Australia clearly means a lot and we understand why.

Could we do it without The Rangers? 100%.

  1. Fuc& I am sure supporters of football ( in Oz ) don’t want to see all the bile separatist shi7e come out in the antipodean. At the end of the day, there will be a bit of Derby banter. Isn’t that why the left the UK?
Pity it’s going to fall flat on its face. But true blue and Green blooded supporters of all ages, would like to see the teams perform for them, in Oz. Why not just send Derby shirts to Oz and let the local kids have a kick about. Just like the Thai Tim’s ?????
