Ange Postecoglou was in fiery form in front of the Sky Sports cameras this afternoon after he was asked about the winter break coming at the right time for Celtic’s deselected squad.

The bhoys have had injury call offs and have been struggling with a threadbare squad for much of December.

However, when asked if the winter break being pushed forward comes at the tight time for the club, the manager made it clear it comes at the right time for one reason and one reason only.

Ange made it clear he didn’t enjoy the game against St Johnstone with no fans and if anyone did they don’t get football.

The winter break coming early allows fans the potential of getting back into the stadium to enjoy fixtures that would have been played behind closed doors if they had gone ahead as originally scheduled.

Celtic’s next game is on January 17th.

  1. ” I’m frae Govan” but now at 90 years-of-age live in Cork. i watch all the televised games at home since that Celtic shrine in Cork, The Friars Walk Tavern, has been closed due to Covid. Dermot Desmond sent me Billy McNeill’s jersey when I organised a mass for Billy; he also arranged for two of Billy’s former team mates John Clark and Bobby Lennox to be present. supplying music was a trio from the Cork School of Music, a Welsh tenor and the church organist. After mass, I led the large Celtic congregation in the singing of ” We’ll Never Walk Alone.” In the days following, over 1,000 people viewed the mass on the church’s TV channel. Anyone know a film producer?
