An hour before kick off, Celtic Park cut a quiet and calm scene outside the ground as it was always going to be.

So many government figures and Police Scotland have been banging the drum for the past two weeks, telling Celtic and The Rangers fans to stay away.

We had never heard any sort of tangible or real groundswell for any Celtic fans going up to Celtic Park before today’s game. This was born out of the shocking scenes from the other side of the city.

We are still in strict lockdown and we must adhere to the rules so we can start getting back INSIDE the stadium.

Clyde News were outside Celtic Park this morning to show the calm scenes.

It’s a bizarre scene in many ways, on a normal derby day, there would be thousands on the Celtic Way and the turnstiles clicking. We long for the day when this is possible again and we can cheer the bhoys onto victory.
