When there’s a heavy snowstorm in Scotland, there’s usually chaos. Traffic at a standstill, public transport cancelled and sporting events put at risk of postponement.
Not in Bodo!
The club that emanates from the north of Norway is all too familiar with extreme weather. That’s why when there was rapid snowfall in the last 24 hours, there was no panic from the locals or the club.
Journalists who had made their way over to Norway from Scotland were wondering if the game would go ahead because the snowfall on the artificial surface was quite heavy.
It wasn’t an issue for very long, here is a tractor clearing the way and ensuring the pitch will be fine for the game in the early evening.

Celtic have to do their best to overturn a 3-1 defeat from the first leg. It’s important they get adjusted to the pitch and the elements very quickly or risk being put out the tie early on.
There could very well be snowfall during the game, it all adds to the excitement ahead of kick-off.
