DEDRYCK BOYATA has lifted the lid on his move away from Celtic this summer with the Belgium defender’s transfer to Hertha Berlin confirmed on Sunday morning.

The Ronny Deila signing says he has to play the bad guy today but “If People Only Knew The Truth” making the claim Celtic never matched what he wanted.

It appears that Boyata was willing to stay at Celtic for the right price but the club refused to meet his demands and in the end he has signed for the German club.

Boyata kicked his last ball for the club during the 2-1 victory against The Rangers back at the end of March when the player couldn’t finish the game due to injury.

There will be no chance he makes the Scottish Cup final and he’ll be free to leave Celtic Park pretty shortly.

Celtic go into their next campaign with only Jozo and Ager as their recognised centre-backs. The club need to bring in reinforcements this summer after Dedrick’s departure and Benkovic’s loan ending.

  1. Deidhied was boss, when he played to his strengths. Good luck to him. I hope he gets a bigger move and shows his strengths elsewhere.
