Celtic ran out 3-0 winners against Livingston at the Tony Macaroni stadium on Saturday afternoon. Goals from Reo Hatate, Matt O’Riley and Daizen Maeda secured three points on a day when Celtic were down to ten men for over an hour.
Joe Hart was sent off for a late challenge when he attempted to clear the ball. Celtic had to adjust and Scott Bain came off the bench to take the gloves.
They adjusted well and in the second half, the bhoys looked like the team who had the extra man.
It was great credit to the team and Brendan Rodgers for his in-game management of the situation.
After the game, as Celtic fans and players celebrated together, one over-exuberant Celtic fan came onto the pitch. The security looked like they were being heavy handed with the fan when Brendan Rodgers walked over and took the fan, pushing security away and returning him to the stand.
It was a great moment, and maybe a moment where more Celtic fans begin to soften their stance on the Irishman.
Bit like buying me a box of beer after I seen you in a restaurant the night before with someone else. The effort is appreciated but more is required
