CELTIC FANS were in good spirits last night even though the club were knocked out of the Europa League at the Mestalla. It takes a lot to dampen the enthusiasm of a Celtic fan away in Europa as they’ve seen it all over the years and the players performance on the night gave them an added boost as they kept the party going at the Mestalla.
Long after the home fans had made their exit from the Iconic stadium, the Celtic fans were still there in their thousands, singing and watching their team take part in a warm down after the game.
The bhoys performance was commendable and who knows what could have been had the referee chosen to be a bit more lenient with Jeremy Toljan. The bhoys fought to the end and you could see that filter through to the fans who were also proud of their side.
Celtic fans are so positive in their support of the club on nights like this; it almost makes you want to quit social media and not have to read the labyrinth of negativity at times.
