The Celtic women were in action on Sunday afternoon against Hamilton Accies away from home in the SWPL.
Fran Alonso Ghirls have had a great start to the season and sit third in the table at present. Rangers women are at the top of the table but they’ve still to take on Celtic and Glasgow City this term.
Celtic and Glasgow City have already battled it out this season – the Hoops came away with a 2-2 draw against the fourteen in row champs.
The team dismantled Hamilton on the day – six goals from six different scorers was certainly the most pleasing aspect of the performance.

The SWPL is a three horse race and the title could come down to how well Celtic do in their fixtures against Glasgow City and Rangers women.
Celtic have the least resources of the other two but punched above their weight last term. This season they look faster, more agile and ready to go. We need to keep instilling a winning mentality. A last minute winner against Hibs a few weeks ago and a 2 goal comeback against Glasgow City certainly help build confidence.
No one is interested in this folly.
