I don’t know about you, but I’m at the point where whoever plays in goals, I think needs to not play in goals. When Barkas is in, I think Bain should be in, when Bain is in, I think Hazard should maybe get a chance, when Hazard’s in goals, maybe we should go back to Barkas.

No goalkeeper has inspired confidence this season, no keeper has had a consistent run in the team.

It got me thinking, what did Celtic see in Barkas to shell out so much on the stopper back last summer. I went through the archives and it became evident, they viewed the same  footage as we found below.

Future Stars – David Turnbull (Pin, Backing Card & Sticker)

Posting on our social media feed, we joke Celtic should be looking to sign the keeper, have a look and try to disagree.

A confident goalkeeper who shows a variety of ways to shut down opponents and shot stopping.

Confidence breeds success and results, and right now, none of our goalkeepers have much confidence but especially Barkas.

The Greek international has been dropped twice by his manager and not done the business when needed.

Add to that, trying to adjust in a new country during a pandemic when you cant integrate with your teammates and there’s only one way this ends unless someone builds the lad’s confidence again. Could Celtic salvage this £4.5m [TransferMarkt] signing?
