Scotland under 21s are in action tonight and currently lead Turkey under 21s 1-0 at halftime thanks to a first touch ball into the box from Adam Montgomery to Glenn Middleton who struck it by the keeper to give the Tartan Army the lead in Bursa.

The Scots have been good value for the lead.

Montgomery has also picked up a booking in the first half.

Under Ange Postecoglou, the 19-year old has featured five times, all of these are from the bench. Most notably, Montgomery came off from the bench away to AZ Alkmaar in Holland and impressed many fans with some even demanding the player to start for the injured Greg Taylor at Ibrox in the following days.

Adam is a versatile player. He is capable of playing left-back and left-wing and has shown his desire to take a man on when the ball is at his feet. Tonight he is playing in a more attacking role.
