DAZIEN MAEDA came off the bench for his country on the 80th minute and was on the scoresheet by the 82nd.

Japan were taking on Ghana in the Kirin Cup and were already 3-1 up when Daizen entered the fray. The Celtic star made his minutes count on the field and made an expert run for a tap in finish to make the full time score 4-1.

The Celtic star showed a great range of abilities in his first six months at Celtic. Now the transfer window has officially opened, the player is now a permanent member of the Celtic squad.

The Japanese frontman was a big reason why Celtic had a strong finish to their campaign in the league. His relentless pressing, closing down and incredible engine was a great asset to Celtic.

He’s not a natural finisher like Kyogo or Giakoumakis but he does tend to get among the goals.

The bhoys playing away on international duty are likley going to be afforded a little more time off before they join up with the rest of the squad who are scheduled to meet up on June 27th.
