Odsonne Edouard won a penalty for his country tonight and it was probably a softer penalty decision than the one that got him booked in the Glasgow Derby.

The Frenchman scored the penalty he had just won to put his country 1-0 up on the night against Russia.

Ikone grabbed a second ten minutes later to put France up 2-0.

Edouard was booked for diving against The Rangers last weekend when video pictures show there was contact but we had a referee who was ridiculously quick to call it simulation.

It was just one in a long line of decisions which were inexplicably given against Celtic during the derby.

Sometimes referees make mistakes but they don’t seem to make them when it comes to one club in the Scottish league. They can’t even make the right calls when they have committed and infringement in their box.

At this point you would need to be run over by a Parks of Hamilton bus in their box to maybe win a penalty.

Eddy slotted his spot kick home with ease tonight, something we’re used to seeing from the striker.
